December Release Blog Hop

For this hop I made a simple one layer card.
I had a baby girl recently. She is not even a month old yet (few more days ;)) And when you have a newborn and three other kids someone may think crafts will be out of reach for a while. Well, not for me.

With gorgeous stamps like Studio Katia's you can make a quick and beautiful card anytime!

All I used here is fabulous Floral Trimmings Stamps Set, which I heat embossed with white powder on kraft paper, white pencil and embellishments from Studio Katia.

I did need a few minutes to stamp and heat emboss the image. Colouring is simple and easy enough to do it with one hand while holding a baby. And white on kraft always looks pretty and elegant, doesn't it?

Do not let anything stop you from crafting when you feel like it! ;)
Even a little bit of crafty time gives so much!

Studio Katia Fall+Winter Release Blog Hop

I am in love with this release and can't even pick a favourite stamp set, they're all very cute, pretty and fun to play with.

For the blog hop I made two Christmas tags. I stamped poinsettia images and coloured them with Zig markers. I adhered them using foam tape and made die cut sentiment using word dies from coordinating die set. I adhered together few die cut sentiments, so they'd be like chipboard. Next I added some of the newest Studio Katia embellishments.

Studio Katia and Chibitronics Collaboration

Hello, Everyone!
Life takes crazy turns sometimes and so I am a bit late to post my card for great collaboration that was happening in the last few days. Studio Katia teamed up with Chibitronics for three days of fun and inspiration.

I had a little car accident two weeks ago which caused some whiplash symptoms. Hopefully they won't last too long. I would appreciate your positive thoughts sent my way. :)
For my card I picked Kobi the Birthday Bear stamp set. Since my son likes green colour most it was easy to pick the colour theme. I stamped a little scene using masks and coloured it with Polychromos pencils.

Next was the tricky part - make a circuit that would connect battery to the lights, so when you press on the gift behind the bear, candle light and bear's hat light up. I wanted it to be more fun, so I added a light on the hat too.

I like stamping small images on the card base, so it adds some fun look and detail.

For this hop I made a There's no place like home card.
When you look at my card think of summer time, when kids are off school and spending more time home, bouncing of walls LOL, playing in the backyard, enjoying the sunshine.

I just had to use my favourite way of making shaker fillers - stamping and cutting some tiny images, so these birds got some cute kiddos. ))
I also added some tiny hearts and yellow flowers to make background look more interesting.

Summer Time Blog Hop with Studio Katia and Newton's Nook Designs

For this Blog Hop I made a card with watercolour scene using NEWTON'S DAY DREAM Stamp Set. What could be better in the summer than enjoy nice weather laying on the grass? Only having a little nap in the shadow of a tree. :)) I looked at how happy and comfortable he looks and get a little jealous. It's been a little chilly here for the last couple of days. I also used:

Studio Katia May Release Blog Hop

For this hop I created a slider card. I had this idea for a while, and with the release of matching dies I just had to make it! I also made a video of the process. Please find it below.

I didn't include colouring process in the video, as it is pretty simple. I will only mention that I used my favourite Polychromos Coloured Pencils.

Since this is a slider card, Alice is happily hopping ;) in a puddle... Check out video below to see the movement on the card.

I have been sick lately and that didn't allow me to do a voiceover for the video. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them. I hope you'll enjoy the music. :)

Studio Katia 1st Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

I am very excited to be part of the wonderful celebration today - Studio Katia is turning 1 today! And that means lots of inspiration and great prizes in the Birthday Celebration Blog Hop!

I made a Birthday shaker+slider card using Birthday Lions Clear Stamp Set.

I stamped the lion and coloured it with Polychromos pencils.

I wanted to cover the slider, so it wouldn't be visible. For that I stamped lots of balloons using couple masks.

Imagine a room with tons of balloons under the sealing and this little lion hanging on one of them. Fun!

I made shaker frame using Stitched Nested Creative Squares Creative Dies and filled it with Crystal Rainbow Fusion and Iridescent Rainbow Seed Beads.

And stamped a sentiment inside.

I love how this cute lion happily slides from side to side!

Valentines Instagram Hop Studio Katia with Krumspring Stamps

Усім привітики! Сьогодні хочу з вами поділитися чудовою новиною і запросити на блог-хоп, який сьогодні проводять компанії Studio Katia та Krumspring Stamps.

Для блог-хопу я зробила листівку, використавши продукцію обох компаній. Вийшла ось така весела й кольорова робота. Я спершу зробила кольоровий фон за допомогою штампа геометричного фону і моїх нових фломастерів Ecoline. 

I created my colourful card using products from both companies. I created a rainbow background ONE TRIANGLE AT A TIME background stamp and cut out circles using STITCHED LOOPS die. 

Із фону я вирізала кола, це будуть кульки. Я відштампувала маленькі серця й написи на колах і покрила їх клеєм ґлоссі.

I made balloons out of the die cut circles, stamped few hearts and words using SWEET HEART CANDY stamp set between geometrical lines of the balloons and covered them with glossy.
