Studio Katia New Release Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited to be part of Studio Katia New Release Blog Hop! It is such a fun and beautiful release at the same time.

I made lots of different cards with it. You can see all of them in the Full Release Reveal video. I want to share with you few of my favourites.

Colouring these hibiscus flowers is so much fun! I used one Square Brick stencils and oxide inks to create a background for this card. Images are coloured with Altenew artist markers and I added a heat embossed sentiment on a vellum.

And I just had to share with you this card. Aren't these sharks adorable? We still have snow here in Ottawa, but I am already in a summer mood thanks to the stamps from this release. And how cute are the starfish on the tag? I like that this stamp set let you personalize them to your own taste.

On my Instagram you can win a $25 Gift Certificate to Studio Katia Store. Make sure to visit me here and leave a comment for your chance to win.
You can also win a $50 Gift Certificate. To celebrate this New Release Studio Katia is giving away TWO $50 CAD Gift Certificates on our Blog! Make sure to stop by SK Blog and leave a comment there by Friday, March 22nd, 2019 11:59 PM EST.

Studio Katia September 2018 Release Blog Hop

Hello Everyone! Welcome to Studio Katia September 2018 Release Blog Hop!

You should have come here from fabulous Rubeena. Your next stop is wonderful Kaja.

For this Blog Hop I created a card and a tag using New A Cup of Thanks Stamp Set and Dotted Patterns Set 3 Creative Dies.
I coloured image on both my card and the tag with Polychromos pencils.
I wanted to make them fun and cheerful, so I decided to go for a yellow background.

I used coordinating die to create a mask. I used Mustard Seed distress ink to ink blend background on the tag. For the card I wanted a little different look, so I only used Mustard Seed on bottom portion of my card, using a strip of masking paper to create a sharp straight line. For the top part I decided to use Lemon Zing ink by SimonSaysStamp and brayering technique. Now, there is not a huge result here, as I wasn’t going for a bold background but rather cheerful, so I only went over my panel few times to have that slight gradient of yellow from darker (not dark, just slightly darker ;)) to light.

I don’t know about you, I usually think of a sentiment in the very last moment. Well not this time. Before I started brayering my background, I die cut word thanks (which is a part of coordinating die set and I love that Katia ads sentiment dies to coordinating sets) out of the masking paper and adhered at the the top right corner of my card panel. After my background was done and I lifted the mask, I got a white word thanks on the yellow background. I love how it looks! I didn’t want the sentiment to steel attention from my gorgeous teacup with flowers and I think this did the trick.

I coloured flowers on the tag and card differently on purpose. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a set. Hope you like what I made for your inspiration and it will help you decide what nee SK products you need in your stash. ;)

December Release Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!
I am so excited about today! It's a day of a new release Blog Hop at Studio Katia! What a great reason to celebrate with a hop!
The release is beautiful. If you love flowers or cute images or beautiful dies - this release is for you!
You should've come here from Olesya's Blog. Your next stop is Marina's Blog.

To celebrate our December Release, Studio Katia is giving away $50 gift certificate to two lucky winners! If you haven't checked Studio Katia Blog yet, make sure to head there too for all the details on prizes you can win.

For this hop I made a simple one layer card.
I had a baby girl recently. She is not even a month old yet (few more days ;)) And when you have a newborn and three other kids someone may think crafts will be out of reach for a while. Well, not for me.

With gorgeous stamps like Studio Katia's you can make a quick and beautiful card anytime!

All I used here is fabulous Floral Trimmings Stamps Set, which I heat embossed with white powder on kraft paper, white pencil and embellishments from Studio Katia.

I did need a few minutes to stamp and heat emboss the image. Colouring is simple and easy enough to do it with one hand while holding a baby. And white on kraft always looks pretty and elegant, doesn't it?

Do not let anything stop you from crafting when you feel like it! ;)
Even a little bit of crafty time gives so much!

You can win a $20 GC to Studio Katia Store on my blog!! I will announce a winner on December 27th.
*Comments must be left before 11:59 PM EST on Friday December 22nd and winners will be announced on December 24th, 2017.

Happy Hopping!

Studio Katia Fall+Winter Release Blog Hop

Hello Friends!
Today is a very exciting day! New Release is now live in Studio Katia store and our Design Team can finally share with you projects created for this Blog Hop.
I am in love with this release and can't even pick a favourite stamp set, they're all very cute, pretty and fun to play with.

You should have arrived from Amanda's Blog and Olga is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below or visit Studio Katia Blog!

For the blog hop I made two Christmas tags. I stamped poinsettia images and coloured them with Zig markers. I adhered them using foam tape and made die cut sentiment using word dies from coordinating die set. I adhered together few die cut sentiments, so they'd be like chipboard. Next I added some of the newest Studio Katia embellishments.

Studio Katia May Release Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!

Studio Katia is releasing great new products today and to celebrate this event we are having a May Release Blog Hop! That means you will see lots of inspiring projects from DT Ladies and will have a chance to win prizes. Super fun!

You should have come here from Valentyna's Blog.

Your next stop is Svitlana.

If you get lost along the way, there's a full list at the bottom of this post and on the Studio Katia Blog.

For this hop I created a slider card. I had this idea for a while, and with the release of matching dies I just had to make it! I also made a video of the process. Please find it below.

I didn't include colouring process in the video, as it is pretty simple. I will only mention that I used my favourite Polychromos Coloured Pencils.

Since this is a slider card, Alice is happily hopping ;) in a puddle... Check out video below to see the movement on the card.

I have been sick lately and that didn't allow me to do a voiceover for the video. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them. I hope you'll enjoy the music. :)
