Фам орієнталь... Oriental Ladies

I have this black paper I like a lot, but didn't have time to play with it. I was happy when I Did It Creations started their "Oriental Ladies" challenge, as it was just perfect for the paper I wanted to use. At least that is the way I saw it. So here's my card with a cute digi stamp from Sylvie's Stamps.

Давно хотіла використати в листівці чорний папір від "Аґрафки" й ось нарешті випала нагода. Для завдання "Жінки Сходу" я отримала ось такий симпатичний штампик із трьома японочками. Ось яка листівочка в мене вийшла.

Sweet Wedding Couple... Весільна пара (багато фото;))

Давно вже я не писала на блозі, але якось важко було дорватися до компутера, аби нашкробати пару слів. Дуже зайняті дні видалися останнім часом, але я таки спромоглася на листівочку, і не лише на листівочку (але про "не лише" завтра)... 

It's been a while since my last post here. I hope you haven't forgot me yet and will try to post more often as I always plan, although with kids it is not always possible. ))) After a too long break I'm finally back and have this sweet wedding card to show you. There will be many pictures, as I really like this one.

Calm and Feminine... Тиха й жіночна

I love this cute Tilda and when I got topic RV95 from Danielle, I knew I'll use it to colour this Tilda's hair. So I did... And combined it with BV00 and R20. I love how my little experiment turned out. So girly and different from what I did before. Thank you, Danielle for this beautiful and inspiring colour!! Stitched lines (again, no sewing machine used) were made "wrong" intentionally. Don't ask me why, but it had to be like that. ))))

Мені надзвичайно подобається ця Тільдочка. Така вона мені особлива, загадкова. Із розфарбовуванням її волоссячка я трошки поеспериментувала, поєднавши на перший погляд непоєднувані кольори. Вийшло те, що я й сподівалася отримати. Обшивала знову вручну (може, то Миколаєві машинку замовити?)))) й навмисне зробила лінії кривими. От чомусь так мені захотілося, щоби було саме так... Може, то "ефект метеликів"?

Ukrainian style waterfall card... Каскадна в українському стилі

Today I want to share with you another waterfall card I made for my mother-in-law. She makes beautiful cross-stitched things, like clothing, icons etc. so I wanted to make something nice and special, something feminine...

Сьогодні покажу вам листівочку, яку робила для чоловікової мами. Вона багато й красиво вишиває, тому мені хотілося зробити для неї щось таке оригінальне, із вишивкою.

Tilda with Sunflower... Із соняшником у руці

This time I wanted to make something girly... And as usual I had to experiment with my copics.

Мала такий цікавий настрій, коли хотілося зробити щось таке ніжне, дівчаче... Вбралася я в свою рожеву піжамку й засіла за свої скарби. ))) І вийшла в мене ось така ніжна листівка.

I decorated inside with lace. Same as the front of my card.

Серединку я прикрасила мереживом так само, як і "лице" листівки. Штампик розмалювала фломастерами, з якими я дуже люблю експериментувати. Дуже задоволена тим, як мені цього разу вдалася шкіра й волосся.

Finally used some stitching as well. No sewing machine used. ;) I used corner punch for the middle part.

Червоне і чорне... Red & black

Yesterday I finally had a bit of magical time for my favourite hobby! I went back to this stamping image I fell in love with and decided to try vintage style, which still very new to me. I opened new pad of 6x6 paper for this card.  

Учора мої хлопці залишили мене вдома саму, давши мені можливість поперебирати трохи мої запаси. Мене одразу ж потягло до того штампа й малюночка, з яким я робила попередню вінтажну листівку. 

Since I don't have all materials (or any actually) that are needed for this, I used whatever I could find to replace them. I had no distressing tool, and used scissors for the edges. I have no distress inks nor special sponge, so I use cotton and chalks. My chalk looked red, although the colour turned out to be a little different than I expected.

To wet my background paper I used fingers and tap water. Also used cotton and chalk to colour few wrinkles. I also coloured petals, so that my roses weren't simply white.

My very first vintage card... I was so afraid of two words in scrapbooking: vintage and shabby. Now thanks to my awesome teacher Danielle I know what is 'vintage' and I can even show you a card I made during class with Danielle. It is also my first easel card. 

Моя перша вінтажна листівка. Мене чомусь завжди дуже лякали слова "вінтажний" та "шебі". Тепер страшним залишилося лише слово "шебі", оскільки на останньому персональному МК я довідалася, що вінтаж - це не так уже й страшно. Навпаки, це просто суперцікаво й весело! Окрім того, це моя перша листівка-підставка.

First I had to choose a stamp... I thought it wouldn't be easy, as Danielle has an incredible collection of beautiful stamps, although this one caught my eye right away. I can even say I fell in love with it!! Gorgeous stamp! Very inspiring too! That's why we had no need to use a sketch or template, the stamp was telling what to do. I distressed all the edges (so fun! although I was too happy that day after getting G1 and was too gentle))) and learned some techniques on using TH Distress Inks. My wish list is growing way too fast! )))

Сукня кольору прощання з літом... Tilda in a sandy dress

I love so much those few colours of copics I have I can't stop experimenting with them. For this Tilda I picked Y21 and E31 to make a sandy dress. I know I have a lot to learn still... But it is so inspiring and fun to play with these markers I just can't stop!

Сподобалося мені малювати. Настільки, що не можу спинитися. Ось така листівочка мала бути спогадом про літо, а вийшло прощанням із літом. Ну, але прощання теж потрібне.

I wish I had no crisis like this last one I'm stuck in. 

I go through my papers, stamps, flowers... and nothing happens. I hope this will end soon, as I really have a need to create something.

In the meanwhile I'll show few cards. They're simple stamps cards. 

У мене зараз затяжна криза, з якою я ще так і не придумала, як боротися. Перебираю свої скарби, папери, квіти... і ніщо не відбувається. Сподіваюся, кінець цієї кризи вже недалеко...

А поки що покажу вам кілька листівок, які зробила ще до кризи. Вчилася штампуванню...

Happy Birthday, Brother!

Even though my brother's Birthday was a month ago, it's still not too late to make a card in addition to the gift he received already. I know he will understand. )))

I used stamps from Inkadinkado to make balloons, attached regular black DMC thread to them. On two balloons there is number 23, as it's my brother's 23rd B-day, and the last balloon has numbers 22 (previous) and 24 (next B-day).

Цю листівку я зробила для брата. У нього ДН вже минув (місяць тому), але якось у мене не було натхнення раніше. Та й пошта страйкувала. А вчора нарешті зробила.

Використала свої штампики з кульками для цієї листівки, а на кульках прив'язала звичайну нитку DMC. На кульках є цифра 23 - стільки братові років. А на одній є 22 (попередній) і 24 (майбутній ДН).

My first experience with copic markers

I had a fabulous time during class with Danielle. It was my very first time to try and learn some technics with copics. It was very fun and addictive. I'm looking forward to have another lesson with Danielle. She's incredibly positive and creative!!!

This card was a lift, as for the very first time I had to copy one of Danielle's cards. I only changed paper a little, that's why my card is a little darker, not as bright and sunny as Danielle's. 

Моя перша спроба в розмальовуванні професійними маркерами. Вчилася ними користуватися на першому в моєму житті уроці. Сказати, що мені сподобалося, то нічого не сказати. Даньєль настільки приємна та позитивна жінка! А її творча майстерня - це не просто мрія, це казка!!

На першому уроці я мала скопіювати її листівку для початку. Я трошки змінила кольори паперу. І моя дівчинка вийшла темніша, оскільки я ще не зовсім розібралася з принципом того, як працюють маркери. Найбільше мені подобається, як у мене вийшов бант і волосся. Взагалі тими маркерами малювати дуже цікаво. Це тепер точно буде моєю мрією, аби мати набір COPIC, хоча б основні кольори.

You're my favourite thing

9th Wedding Anniversary Card for my dear Hubby! Found these cute owls by complete accident at Michael's. I was looking for some ideas for the card, and there they were - with an idea ready to be made! We like staying up late, so this is just what I needed. I made it in my husband's favourite colours.

Ось таку листівочку зробила для коханого мужа на 9-ту річницю шлюбу. Кольори використала сині, бо це улюблений колір мого чоловіка. Я вже давно шукала якусь ідею, а тут у магазині нарила штамп із двома симпатичними совами. Доволі символічна пара, бо ми любимо разом сидіти до пізна. Дуже люблю наші спільні вечори, хоча зараз вони не дуже й тихі, але зате файні й радісні! 

Flowery Thank You Card

First time using Cuttlebug machine. Made a very simple card, using colours from "Breakfast on the Grass" challenge. Wrapped it in a white waxed thread and added few half pearls. 

Ось така простенька подячна листівочка мені зробилася х використанням машини для витискання.  Кольорову палітру взяла із завдання "Сніданок на траві" від "Мой мир скрапбукинга".

Birthday Girl Card

Summer Vacation Thank You Card

I opened my drawer with stamps today looking for something to inspire a summer thank you card. I don't know why, but somehow I got butterflies, flowers and hot air balloon all together in a waterfall card. I guess that is my association with fun summer vacation. Made it for a very nice couple in who's cottage we'll stay this weekend. 

Літня подячна листівочка. Коли сиділа над своїми штампами й обирала, котрі саме взяти для цієї каскадної листівки, то навіть не думала, що разом опиняться метелики, квіти та повітряна куля. Однак саме такий асоціятивний ряд у мене вибудувався при думці про вихідні, коли поїдемо до відпочинкового будиночка одних добрих людей, для яких і зробила цю карточку.

Summer Kaleidoscope Birthday Card

Last night sunset we watched from the beach in Britannia Park inspired this colourful card. Blue is for the blue water of the Ottawa river, yellow is for the sand at the beach, and all other colours were inspired by people's clothes and stuff at the beach. And butterflies are the first association when I think about summer.
Прогулянка над річкою, веселка та захід сонця навіяли настрій на ось таку листівку, яку я назвала "Літній калейдоскоп". Синій колір символізує синю воду ріки, жовтий - пляж, а решта кольорів натхнені кольоровими рушниками, купальниками та торбами людей на пляжі...

I made it using Sketch 123 from CardPatterns. 

Also I used a butterfly template from "ЗробиСама".

Із цією листівкою беру участь у завданні №4 від "ЗробиСама", дуже мені сподобався шаблон метелик.

Men's Jacket Card

My husband asked me to make a thank you card for his professor. I decided to make a suit card, but couldn't find anything I liked, until found this Valita's blog and templates. That was something I wanted to make.

I wasn't sure what colour would be the best, so I made two cards.

Чоловік попросив мене зробити подячну листівку для його викладача. Я довго шукала різні ідеї піджаків, сорочок та костюмів, аж поки не надибала шаблон на ось цьому блозі. Він мені сподобався настільки, що я вирішила зробити за ним листівку. Властиво, я не була певна, що саме підійде краще, тому зробила дві.

Black... Чорну...

And brown... і коричневу.

Special Day

When a good friend visits your house it is not just any day, it is a special day. And to invite your friend for a  special cup of tea or coffee, you can make a card with a cup in it so that she can taste the moment and atmosphere before the visit and remember them for a long time after it... ;)

Цю листівку я почала робити ще до того, як зробила "квітковий чай", однак ніяк не могла придумати, як прикрасити першу сторінку листівки. Тому горнятко чекало своєї черги. Мереживо й нове знаряддя для прошивання зробили свою справу і я її завершила. Ще й відповідне завдання підвернулося!

Yay! We have a bit of sub today! And this card was made with a thought of sun, summer and summer beauty. I showed one picture of this card before. Today I'll show you few more.

Нарешті в нас гарні й сонячні дні, після довгих і дощових! Саме з думкою про чудове й тепле літо ця листівка й робилася! Раніше я показувала лише одне її фото, а тепер покажу трохи більше.
